City Splash 2025, We Stay Pushing Culture.
After another year as the world’s biggest one-day celebration of Caribbean and African culture, we want to big up all the staff, security, traders, artists, and crowd who brought their energy and love.
Early sets from Jamie Rodigan and Sisters In Dub brought the vibes and warmed up the party whilst the park was filling up. Things heated up over at the Bossy LDN stage as Brixton’s own Nia Smith brought her soulful vibes, whilst viral sensation DJ AG shutdown the Pull Up stage for his City Splash debut with guest performances from community legends Daddy Freddy and Ragga Ruggie!
But it’s not just about the music, as friends were reunited over fine flavours courtesy of Black Eats LDN, our Rastafari Reasoning Corner became a hub for conscious conversation curated by House Of Dread. Community is at the heart of City Splash, and we couldn't be more grateful to all of you who made it to Brixton to celebrate the past, present and future of Black music, food and culture.
The Yaad saw the legend Tarrus Riley play his reggae classic ‘She’s Royal’, before Spice made her City Splash debut, reeling off hits like ‘So Mi Like It’ and ‘Sheet’, proving why she is THE queen of dancehall.
Once the sun had set, The Compozers took to the Pull Up stage and shut it down with their endless energy and unmatched vibes. Our headliner, Popcaan, closed the night with his incredible band playing his biggest tunes from ‘Clarks’ to ‘Party Shot’.
Tens of thousands of people came together to celebrate and push the culture at the 5th edition of City Splash. This is more than a festival. It’s a family. It’s a movement.
Can’t wait another year?
