The Access Card is a scheme from Nimbus and is designed to streamline the process of communicating your access needs, the Access Card translates your disability or impairment into easy-to-understand symbols. You can read more about how the symbols are allocated here.

Nimbus offers two versions of the Access Card:

• A free Brockwell Live Digital Access Pass that can be used to apply for out The Nimbus Access Cardaccessible facilities at Brockwell Live.

• A £15 physical Access Card that can be used at multiple festivals and venues across the UK, including Glastonbury Festival and The O2, eliminating the need for repeated explanations.

Our use of the Nimbus Access Card aims to build a more inclusive environment. The card not only supports your individual needs but also contributes to a broader movement towards better accessibility for all.

We use the Nimbus Access Card in order for people to translate their disabilities and impairments into easy to understand symbols. From there, we have worked with Nimbus to allocate these symbols to our facilities on-site.

Some accessible facilities at Brockwell Live must be applied for in advance through our application process. You must have both a Nimbus Access Card and a ticket booking in order to apply.

1. Firstly, you will need to apply for a Nimbus Access Card. They offer a free Brockwell Live Digital Access Pass which is only valid at the Brockwell Live shows, or, you can pay £15 for a physical access card that can be used at venues across the country. If you already have an access card, you can skip this step!

2. You must then complete our Access Request Form, for which your Nimbus Card number will be required. These will go live on Monday 1st December at 5pm.

Once you have filled out the Access Request Form, our team will assess the symbols on your access card and get back to you as soon as possible.

Our Access Request Forms will go live on Monday 1st December at 5pm and should be completed by those wishing to use any of our bookable facilities (PA ticket, AVP and Accessible Parking).

WE CANNOT ISSUE ANY ADDITIONAL PA TICKETS

The deadline to apply for a PA ticket was Monday 18th May.

As City Splash 2026 is now sold out, we are unable to issue any additional PA tickets today. Issuing further tickets would take us over our licensed capacity and we are unable to make any exceptions.

Personal Assistant (PA) Tickets

There are no separate tickets for festival goers with access requirements. Anyone wanting to attend the festival must book tickets. We provide complimentary Personal Assistant (PA) tickets, if eligible.

Please do not purchase your PA ticket, as we are unable to process a refund for this.

A Nimbus Access Card or Brockwell Live Digital Access Pass with a +1 symbol is required to get a complimentary PA ticket.

How can I get a PA ticket?

1) Purchase your own ticket first.

2) Apply for a Nimbus Access Card. If you already have an access card, you can skip this step!

3) Request a Personal Assistant ticket via our Access Request Form. This will open on Monday 1st December at 5pm.

The deadline for making PA ticket requests is two weeks before the festival.

Please do not purchase your PA ticket, as we are unable to process a refund for this.

What is a PA ticket?

Attendees who require essential assistance are entitled to a complimentary companion / Personal Assistant (PA) ticket, subject to eligibility.

Brockwell Live does not sell specific “access tickets” for customers with access needs. All access customers are required to purchase their own General Admission or VIP festival ticket in the first instance.

When will I receive my PA ticket?

You will be sent your PA ticket within 48 hours of the event.

Am I eligible?

Proof of eligibility is required to provide you with your PA ticket. We require the Nimbus Access Card or the Brockwell Live Digital Access Pass with a +1 symbol on it.

The deadline has passed, what do I do now?

The deadline to apply for PA tickets was 18th May. As we are now sold out we are unable to issue any additional PA tickets on site today. Issuing further tickets would take us over our licensed capacity and we are unable to make any exceptions.

The show takes place in Brockwell Park. The area is predominantly grass, with limited hard standing pathways. All activities and stages are situated on the grass fields of the park.

Such terrain can become muddy in wet weather and this can limit access or make mobility more difficult. The weather can have a big impact on how easy it is for people to move around the site so please take this into consideration when planning your day.

Although there are some tarmac tracks on the festival site, these do not run into the stages (which all stand on grass). All road systems leading to the centre of the park from the entrances run up a slight gradient.

Our Accessible Viewing Platforms are raised platforms available at the Main Stage, Stage 2, Stage 3 and Stage 4. Please note that the Main Stage and Stage 2 viewing platform is uncovered, so please prepare for all weather conditions. 

The viewing platforms are designed for wheelchair users and others for whom the standing area is not suitable, plus a companion or PA ticket-holder if required. There is seating on the Accessible Viewing Platform. A wristband will be required to gain access to the viewing platforms, which can be collected on entry at any of the access lanes, or at the access hub.

Accessible toilets and charging points will be available at each viewing platform.  

Please note that these platforms have limited capacity and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

If approved, you can collect your Accessible Viewing Platform wristband from any of the access lanes, or the Access Hub. You will not be able to access the Accessible Viewing Platform without the correct accreditation.

A request can be made for Accessible Parking by using the access request form. This will be available on Monday 1st December at 5pm.

Our Accessible Parking is a designated car park for Blue Badge holders. Spaces within the car park are limited, and they are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note, these spaces must be pre-booked. 

If you have missed out on a space and must drive to the event, Lambeth will allow Blue Badge holders to park in bays marked ‘Disabled’ or ‘Pay and Display’ for an unlimited time.

A request can be made for Accessible Parking by using the access request form. This will be available on Monday 1st December at 5pm.

Central on-site information point for access-related support, accreditation collection, and general assistance on the day. There are also accessible toilets here.

Accessible toilets are located throughout the site at every toilet block and Accessible Viewing Platform. They will be clearly signposted.

Please note, radar keys are not needed or used for these.

Accessible toilets are located at each Viewing Platform, the Welfare Tent and at each toilet block except the Main Stage, where the main accessible toilet is located at the accessible viewing platform.

British Sign Language interpreters available on main stage performances for Cross The Tracks, City Splash and Mighty Hoopla.

You’re welcome to enter through any lane at both the North and South Gates (or through the VIP entrance if you have a VIP ticket). If you need assistance, we also have dedicated access lanes at each gate, which are step-free entry points, and our trained access team will be present.

Please note, this is not a queue jump, and the lanes may become busy at peak times. So, we would advise you to arrive as early as possible to ensure a smoother entry experience.

Registered assistance dogs are welcomed on site, with a dedicated spending area. We ask that, if your assistance dog has a harness or jacket identifying their role, they please wear it while at the festival. Please note no other animals are allowed on site.

If an assistance dog displays inappropriate behaviour, we reserve the right to ask the customer to leave the premises with their dog.

Dedicated charging points for powered wheelchairs, mobility scooters and equipment are available on each Accessible Viewing Platform (AVP) and at the Access Hub.

If you need to store medicine, you can store it in the fridge in the medical centre, please go to the Welfare tent where someone will be able to assist you.

Secure, refrigerated medication storage is available. This will be kept at Access Hub.

Hearing loop systems installed at the Access Hub, Access Lanes and AVPs to support D/deaf and hard of hearing guests.

Fully equipped Changing Places toilet available on site, featuring an adult-sized changing bench, hoist, and adjustable wash basin. This will be available at the festival Access Hub.

All bars and traders serving food and drink will have large print menus. Please just ask if you need one to order, they are ready to assist. 

There are seven main bars at the event and lowered counters will be available at each.

Please note that some of our food vendors and sponsored bars may not be able to provide this. In these instances they will come out to serve you, we do encourage you to ask for help.

All the Brockwell Live events are standing only. There is some unreserved seating across the site, however this is limited and is within picnic areas only. Personal chairs and stools are not permitted.

If seating is essential to your enjoyment of the event due to medical circumstances, you may apply for access to our viewing platforms via the access booking form. Please note that seating is limited on the accessible viewing platforms and will be granted on a first come first served basis.

In order to ensure all those with permanent disabilities can access our bookable facilities we are unable to accommodate any temporary conditions. This is considered to be anything that will affect the individual for less than 12 months.

However, Brockwell Live remains committed to ensuring comfort and safety for all attendees. Individuals who are pregnant or temporarily injured are encouraged to visit the Access Hub on the day, so reasonable adjustments can be made where possible (e.g. seating, proximity to facilities, or rest areas).

Due to the nature of the event there will be flashing lights and strobe effects on all stages. Lasers may be used for some performances. More detailed information will be provided closer to the festival.

Brockwell Park is well served by numerous bus routes and two major public transport hubs, both with step free access.

Herne Hill overground station - 0.3 miles

Herne Hill is the closest station to the event site, situated to the north-east of Brockwell Park. The station is approximately 500 metres away from both the Brixton and Herne Hill entrances of the festival site and involves crossing two roads to access the park. Staff help is available at this station with ramps for train access and step free access coverage.

Brixton Underground Station and Brixton Rail Station - 1 mile

Brockwell Park is approximately 1 mile away from Brixton Underground Station. Visitors can travel by train from the nearby Brixton Rail Station to Herne Hill, which is a 2 minute train journey. The distance between Brixton Underground Station and Brixton Rail Station is approximately 130 metres by roadside pavement and involves crossing a road once.

There are also several bus routes from the underground station to outside of the park.

There is step-free access at Brixton Underground station.

Hearing loops will be available at the Box Office, the Accreditation Office, the Access Tent and at Bar 2 (located next to the Access Tent).

Registered BSL Performance Interpreters, provided by Performance Interpreting, will be available at the Main Stage for Cross The Tracks, City Splash and Mighty Hoopla. If you wish to be escorted to the main arena in order to get a good sight line of our Interpreters, please head to the Access Hub where someone will be able to escort you closer to the stage.
